Emerge Sydney

Emerge Sydney is a coworking community for providing fresh and innovative workspaces located in Surry Hills.

The project included creating a breakout area with booth seating, a fit-out of independent offices, hot desks with acoustic panelling and modern standalone metal frames around the interior elements.

One of the project’s priorities was to keep modern, hip design and innovative style of all interiors. Our experienced team focused on each detail to create a beautiful, spacious and contemporary working environment.

The kitchen breakout area is in the centre of the coworking space. The design included modern cabinets with subway style splashback and a large kitchen island installed around the structural column. The front of the island we decorated in colours of the main design. To create a unique effect, we routed a board and painted it at the back. As a result, the front of the kitchen island looks modern and original.

We used colourful standalone metal frames around booth seating and hot desks to emphasize the space’s industrial character. We angled them to create a hub for the person using the hot desks. Additionally, we installed acoustic panelling to make the workspace more comfortable.

The biggest challenge of this project was the very tight schedule that we needed to meet. Moreover, the company’s location in Surry Hills made it hard to bring all the building elements. We needed to carry everything through fire stairs or use a small elevator. However, we managed to meet the deadline and our client’s requirements with our team’s great effort.
